German Christmas Pyramid Holy Story, 3-Tier, 40 cm by Richard Glässer – Traditional Craftsmanship from Seiffen

A Traditional Nativity Scene Rich in Festive Detail

The German Christmas Pyramid Holy Story, 3-Tier, 40 cm by Richard Glässer brings the Christmas story to life across three beautifully arranged tiers. On the lowest level, Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men and other colourful figures gather around the manger. Their richly coloured robes create an attractive contrast with the warm, natural wood. A delicate wooden lattice surrounds the scene and highlights the traditional character of this distinctive piece of Erzgebirge folk art.

The middle tier features shepherds accompanied by their sheep. Carefully crafted details, including shepherds’ staffs and individually shaped animals, give this peaceful scene a wonderfully lively appearance. Above them, white-robed angels with golden instruments proclaim the Christmas message. Elegant gold-coloured accents on the railings and posts add a festive touch. Crowning the three levels is the impressive rotor with its light wooden blades, completing the unmistakable silhouette of a traditional German Christmas pyramid.
