Behind the Holy Family rises an impressive wood-shaving tree. Its countless delicate curls showcase a distinctive form of traditional Erzgebirge woodworking. Two gracefully curved wooden arches frame the scene and lead upwards towards the rotating fan. Four broad wooden blades crown the elegant construction, while the circular platform and understated base keep the focus firmly on the detailed Christmas scene.
